PAM Authentication Properties
Linux
The option PAM Authentication Properties is displayed only for Local Processing Hub installed on Linux and is applicable only for the user whose AUTHENTICATION method is set to PAM user. For more information on different authentication methods, see .
For users with PAM authentication, the default PAM service is login. To use a different PAM service, you need to configure the PAM Authentication Properties:
Default service ('login')
default: Use the default PAM service login for authentication.Specific service : Use a user-specified PAM service for authentication instead of the default service. Enter the name of a specific PAM service that you want to use for authentication.
Execute PAM authenticator as different user : Run the PAM authenticator as the specified USER instead of the operating system user under which the High-Volume Agent is running.
This user must have privilege to run the following command:
$ sudo -n -u PAM_Sudo_User -- $HVR_HOME/lib/hvrauthpam PAM_Servicecontent_copy
Manage Hub Bookmarks
With hub bookmarks, you can save shortcuts to your frequently used hubs and quickly navigate to them from the Switch Hub dialog.

To create a hub bookmark:
- In the top right corner of the Repository tab, click Manage Hub Bookmarks.
- In the Edit Hub Bookmark dialog, click Add Bookmark.
- Paste the URL of the hub in the URL field and hub description. Click Save.
