Fivetran helps you centralize data from disparate sources which you can manage directly from your browser. We extract your data and load it into your data destination.

We offer a 14-day free trial for all new accounts that begins after your is complete. During the trial period, you can try the features included in the to see if Fivetran meets your business needs.

This brief tutorial shows you how to create, configure, and navigate your new Fivetran account. Let’s get you set up:

Sign up for Fivetran

Go to to sign up. Once you enter your information and verify your email, you enter a guided setup wizard.

Connect source

On the Select your data source page, select your data source from . Fill out the setup form using the instructions embedded in the dashboard, then click Save & test to create your connector.

Connect destination

On the Select your data’s destination page, select your destination from . If you don’t have a destination, you can set up a Fivetran-managed BigQuery destination that is free to use during your trial. Fill out the setup form using the instructions embedded in the dashboard, then click Save & test to connect your destination.

IMPORTANT: To access the data in a Fivetran-managed BigQuery destination, you must connect a BI tool. Learn how in our .

Add more connectors (optional)

If you want to try out additional connectors, follow our instructions to create them. You can add as many connectors as you'd like.

TIP: Add all of your connectors before you begin syncing data. The free trial does not begin until your first initial sync is complete, so you'll have the most time possible to try these connectors.

Start initial sync

Click Start initial sync to begin your connector's . Fivetran notifies you once the sync is complete. Your free trial begins once a connector starts an .

Add transformations (optional)

On the Transformations tab, click Get started to learn how to set up a new transformation, use our , or connect our pre-built . Our transformations run in your destination after we load your data in, so your raw data is always available alongside your transformed data. Learn more in our .

Add users (optional)

On the Users tab, follow our instructions to add teammates to your account. Learn about Fivetran's user roles and permissions in our .

Monitor usage & purchase

Seven days into your trial, go to the Billing page to view your and usage estimate to see what Fivetan may cost for you. Fivetran notifies you once the estimate is ready. Learn how we calculate the estimate in our .

Once your trial ends, choose a pricing plan to continue using Fivetran. You can either choose a plan on your and add a credit card (if applicable) or speak with a Fivetran salesperson for an annual commitment.
