Capabilities for Vector
This section lists the of Fivetran Local Data Processing when using 'Vector'. For more information about the pre-requisites, access privileges, and other configuration requirements, see .
Capture
Local Data Processing does not support changes from location on Vector.
Repository Database
Local Data Processing does not support Repository database on Vector.
Integrate
Local Data Processing supports the following capabilities on Vector:
- changes into location (Vector from version 2.0 to version 6.0).
- Burst integration ( with parameter Method=BURST) (Vector from version 2.0 to version 6.0).
- with parameter BurstCommitFrequency (Vector from version 2.0 to version 6.0).
- Continuous integration ( with parameter Method=CONTINUOUS) (Vector from version 2.0 to version 6.0).
- Tables without a key and without with NoDuplicateRows for continuous integration (Vector from version 2.0 to version 6.0).
- with parameter SoftDelete (Vector from version 2.0 to version 6.0).
- Creation and update of Local Data Processing state tables (Vector from version 1.0 to version 6.0).
Local Data Processing does not support the following capabilities on Vector:
- Continuous with parameter OnErrorSaveFailed.
- Disable/enable database triggers during (with parameter NoTriggerFiring).
- with parameter DbProc.
Bi-directional Replication
Local Data Processing does not support Bi-directional Replication on Vector.
Refresh and Compare
Local Data Processing supports the following capabilities on Vector:
- or from source location (Vector from version 1.0 to version 6.0).
- into target location (Vector from version 1.0 to version 6.0).
- Row-wise into target location (option -g) (Vector from version 1.0 to version 6.0).
- Disable/enable foreign keys and secondary indices during (option -F) (Vector from version 1.0 to version 6.0).
- For a table: disable/enable journaling, disable/enable unique/primary constraints, disable/enable volatile secondary indices, support main storage structure during (Vector from version 1.0 to version 6.0).
- Identity columns (Vector from version 2.0 to version 6.0).
Local Data Processing does not support the following capabilities on Vector:
- Select more than 4 billion rows during or .
Other Capabilities
Local Data Processing supports the following capabilities on Vector:
- International table and column names where DBMS is not configured with UTF-8 encoding (Vector from version 1.0 to version 6.0).
- Treat DBMS table names and columns as case sensitive if configured (location property Case_Sensitive_Names) (Vector from version 1.0 to version 6.0).
Local Data Processing does not support the following capabilities on Vector:
- Use distribution key for parallelizing changes within a table ( with parameter DistributionKey).
- Lossless binary float datatypes. No data loss when transporting float values (because base 2 fractions are never converted to base 10). The values for these datatypes, when selected back from the database, might be slightly different from the ones that were inserted. This leads to Compare differences.
