Periscope BI Tool Setup Guide

Setup instructions

Download P12 file

1. In the Fivetran dashboard, go to the Destinations page.

2. Select your managed BigQuery destination.

3. Go to the BI Tools tab, then click + BI Tool.

4. On the Select your BI tool page, select Periscope.

5. Click Download file to download the P12 file.

6. Click Save.

7. Make a note of the Service Account and Project ID. You will need them to configure Periscope.

Add Database to Periscope

1. Open Periscope.
2. In the left hand navigation pane, click the Settings gear icon, then click Database Connections.
3. Click Add Database.
4. Enter the Display Name.
5. In the Database Type drop-down menu, select BigQuery.
6. Enter the Service Account you found in .
7. In the SQL Dialect drop-down menu, select Standard.
8. Enter the Project ID you found in .
9. Upload the P12 file you downloaded in .
