Prerequisites

To connect Reddit Ads to Fivetran, you need an active .

NOTE: Both your user and the advertiser accounts must be safelisted by Reddit to access their API. If the account is not yet safelisted, you will see the following message in the setup test: This account is not allowed to use the API. Contact prior to setting up your connector for more information on whitelisting the account.

Setup instructions

1. In the , enter the Destination schema name of your choice.

2. Click Authorize to authorize Reddit to log in through OAuth.

3. (Optional) Add linked accounts. You can add as many accounts as you'd like.

   i. Set the Sync multiple accounts toggle to ON.

   ii. Click Add account.

   iii. Enter the Reddit username of the linked account you want to add.

   iv. Click Save.

4. (Optional) Click Add report.

5. (Optional) Enter your Report Name. It must be unique within this connector and must comply with .

6. (Optional) Specify the report parameters.

   i. Select the Level and Segmentation for the report. Both parameters are required. Select NONE if you don't want to use level or segmentation in your report.

   ii. (Optional) Select the fields you'd like to include in the custom reports. If you don't select any field, then all available fields will be included in report.

   iii. (Optional) Set the Include event conversions data toggle to ON if you want to sync event conversions data, and then select events you'd like to include in the custom conversions report. If you don't select any field, then all available fields will be included in report.

   iv. (Optional) Set the Include custom events toggle to ON if you want to sync custom events conversions data as well.

7. Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync data from your Reddit Ads account.
